What good advice!
I created my blog to encourage me to loosen up my style and sketch more often. Quite how to get people to find my blog is another thing entirely! It's very new but it would be nice to know other people where enjoying the site too. Any advice on this?

Thanks for your tips, Dani (I love your art, too).
I am currently shopping for a scanner and would prefer something bigger than a 8.5" X 11". There's not much out there unless you can pay the big bucks. I asked the copy folks (I figured they'd know better than the sales guys on the floor) at Staples today and they recommended the new Brother MFC-6490CW which is an all in one but has 11" X 17" scanning surface. It is around $300 and has a 1200 X 1200 dpi. Has anyone else used this scanner and are you happy with it?
Thanks, Theresa

Diane - No, there is no screening process for getting a profile on Hai. However, the site administrator picks what news is featured on the site and in the newsletter. There is also a regular featured artist and there have been screening processes for some of the promos. They are actively making this site useful for art directors and work hard to keep the quality up so the junk does not take over. All members are allowed and encouraged to submit news and send promos for their mail packs, so you don't have to get lost in the shuffle.

Hello Sir,

your art is really awesome!, especially the cartoons for children. I am Noorjehan Mehnaz Jafri another cartoon artist and animator. currently on the verges of making my 3Danimation demoreel and also on the other hand doing some voluntary projects for a indian youth oriented tv show called Roadies 7, besides that I am also a freelancing artist/illustrator
and on this venture of me searching for some projects i happen to come across your website a very interactive one.
Which has inspired me more so that I have sent you an email for some of the freelancing work which I can do for you if you feel that my works are suitable enough for any of your projects.
Besides I was also freelancing as a storybook illustrator with Prathamb an Indian Book publishing house where I was creating picvtures for school books for children in the rural sector in their recent project called Read India.
