IF YOU VISIT THIS BLOG ON A REGULAR BASIS, PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THIS POST.
I started DaniDraws.com mainly because I had so many ideas in my head, that I needed an outlet that would let me share them with all of you. It has become more of a success than I imagined it would be, and for that I am grateful.
When it comes to articles and tutorials for illustrators, I think there is a lack of really good high-quality stuff out there. Hopefully this website has filled the void a little. I want each of you to come here and be able to gain something valuable. I, myself, have been able to learn so much just by writing each post.
But the website needs your support. First, the site is not free to run. Fortunately I’ve been able to pay for the hosting and registration fees using advertising, but I want to keep this to a minimum. Second, there other less tangible costs involved, such as time, thought, and energy.
If you would like to show your appreciation by leaving a donation, you can do so through PayPal (address to firstname.lastname@example.org).
Even a dollar or two helps tremendously. However, I don’t want any of you to feel obligated to pay for the information here. This site will remain as free as I can possibly keep it. But at the very least, please take a moment to visit my Support page; there are many free and easy ways to help keep DaniDraws.com going.
I won’t bug you guys too much about this in the future, but I hope you understand why this post is necessary. I gain a lot from this blog, but it takes a lot of my resources too. If I earn a little something in return, it helps to justify the extra work and hours that could be spent doing other things.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for all the comments, emails, and feedback that you all have given me this past year. I have some great ideas and plans for the future. If you have any specific questions or requests, be sure to send them in.
Please note that this blog will be on hiatus until after the holidays. See you next year!
All the best,
