12 Days of A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol is one of my favorite stories of all time, and it seems that every year around the holidays, I get the urge to draw Christmas Carol stuff. This year is no exception.

12 Days of Scrooge-y Goodness

For 2009, I’ve decided to create a series of spot illustrations based on the story. I will post each one here on the blog throughout the month.

Bah-Humbug Ustreams

Each image will be painted digitally live on my Ustream channel. The show will broadcast every Tuesday-Friday at 10 AM ET from December 1-18. You can watch the show here on my website or on the main channel page on Ustream’s site.

Buy the Art

I am going to make the art available as ACEO cards – i.e. small trading card size (2.5″x3.5″) inkjet prints on heavyweight matte photo paper. Every image will be limited to an edition of 15 prints. Each will come signed and numbered and will be $5. Visit the store page or watch for blog updates to see the art as it becomes available throughout the month.

I will also sell all 12 card prints together as a set. This obviously won’t be available until after the entire project is done. Giveaways

In addition, every Friday I will give away a set of printed cards containing each of the four images I painted that week, and for the grand finale on December 18, I will give away an entire set of card prints for all twelve characters. To qualify, just show up to watch the broadcast live, and a user will be picked randomly from the chat room at the end of the show.
