Thank you very much Dani. I really needed this information. Last week I went to my bank and found out I need to get some paperwork from the local courthouse to read and fill out. Also, I need to give to the contact person at my bank the paperwork to get the ball a rollin’. So, sometime this month I should be a freelancer. Again, thank you. You don’t know how much I appreciate this.
I read this book before I decided to go to art school. It was a great way to get introduce to the business of illustration before taking any classes. School just reenforced many of the topics in the book.
I got this book just before I quit my day job to become an illustrator, I found this book to be very informative, but I think it also overwhelmed me and scared me a little bit. Its a good thing though, they cover alot of good stuff one should know before becoming freelance.
