For this week’s IF I decided to something a bit different to go along with the theme. The beauty of digital painting is that you can do different parts of the painting on layers. Here are a few pieces from Elfis, a children’s book I illustrated, showing only the backgrounds of the paintings. As you can see, I had a lot of fun with the sky when I illustrated this story.
